Evaporative Cooling Unit - Reduce the temperature with low electric consumption

 

FUNCTIONING

 

The electric consumption is reduced, only needed for feeding a fan and a small pump of wather. What cools the environment is the process of evaporation of the water that removes heat of air, reducing the temperature of the ambient.

1) The temperature of the environment is between 3 to 5°C above of the temperature of air in the exit of the cooling unit, depending on the thermal load (heat sources).


2) The temperature in the exit of the cooling unit changes according to humidity of air. The more dry is the air, more the temperature is reduced by the cooling unit, that is, its performance is better in the hours of heat peak during the day that is between 11:00 and 16:00 h. The table to the side is referring to a relative humidity of 40%.
